Commencement Rehearsal Lunch
Rigby Hall Courtyard—12 p.m.
President and Mrs. McVay and Cabinet invite all graduates—graduating seniors and graduate students—to come by for lunch before the start of Commencement Rehearsal. In the event of inclement weather, the lunch will be held in the Alaska Room (Kellogg Hall).


Commencement Rehearsal
Centennial Green—1 p.m.
Graduates will practice for the Commencement ceremony and receive details about weekend activities, ordering pictures, etc.


Sign the Belfry
Administration Building (fourth floor)—8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Class of 2024 and alumni are invited to sign their names in the belfry.

Service to recognize engineering graduates and for their families to meet engineering faculty.

Senior class presents the evening vespers program.

The Alumni and Parent Relations Office invites the Class of 2024, their families, and faculty and staff to a reception immediately following the Consecration service.

Baccalaureate
University Church—11:45 a.m.
Our Baccalaureate worship service speaker will be Dr. Albert Handal, Walla Walla University senior chaplain and assistant to the president for spiritual mission.


Teacher Dedication
Fellowship Hall (University Church)—3 p.m.
Honors those graduating with degrees in elementary education, secondary certification, and master's programs with certification. All are welcome to attend.


Social Work and Sociology Pinning and Dedication Ceremony
Heubach Chapel (University Church)—3:30 p.m. 
Dedication service to honor bachelor of social work and sociology graduates. Reception immediately following. All are welcome to attend.


Nurses' Pinning
University Church—4 p.m. 
Ceremony to welcome graduating nurses into the nursing profession. All are welcome to attend.


Theology Senior Dedication
Heubach Chapel (University Church)—5 p.m. 
Dedication service to honor graduating theology and religion majors. All are welcome to come and show support for the young ministers and bible workers as they meet together one last time before they pursue their future for Christ.


Strawberry Dessert Reception
Fine Arts Center Lawn—6 p.m. 
Senior class officers invite graduates and their families to enjoy strawberries and ice cream. In the event of inclement weather, the reception will be held in Kellogg Hall.

Graduates gather to be photographed and then line up in marching order for the Commencement processional.

Rigby Hall Sidewalk—8:00 a.m. 
Administration, Board, Emeriti, Faculty, and Staff line up on the sidewalk west of Rigby Hall in marching order for Commencement processional. The marshals will give you instructions at that time.


Commencement
Centennial Green—8:30 a.m. 
Dr. Paul Dybdahl, Walla Walla University professor of mission and New Testament, will give the Commencement address. 

Regrettably, there is no adequate alternative facility in which to conduct Commencement in the event of inclement weather. If rain is forecast, please come prepared for it. 

A family representative may arrive early and hold up to eight seats until 8 a.m., at which time all held seats that are unoccupied will be available to anyone on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please encourage all family members and friends to be seated at that time. Thank you for your cooperation.
