Larry Dodds

Larry Dodds joined the Walla Walla University Board of Trustees in November 2013. 

Dodds began his health care career in 1971 and worked for Adventist Health from 1973-2011. In addition to his time at AMC, Dodds served as associate administrator at WWGH. Prior to joining Adventist Health, he worked for a health care organization in Maryland. During his career, Dodds chaired the boards of the following Adventist hospitals: Adventist Medical Center (AMC) in Portland, Oregon; Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Hawaii; Sonora Regional Medical Center in Sonora California; and Tillamook County General Hospital (WWGH) in Walla Walla, Washington. 

Dodds holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, as well as a master’s degree from Portland State University. He is active in many professional associations and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dodds and his wife, Jane, have two adult children, four grandchildren and, since his retirement, reside in College Place, Wash.
