Building, working, studying:
Celebrating 125 years of community at WWU
This year Walla Walla University celebrates its 125th anniversary. On December 7, 1892 we opened our doors to our first students, an opening made possible by the support of our local and regional communities. Since this first day, WWU has expanded from a single building in College Place, Washington to five campuses across the Pacific Northwest, educating more than 25,000 individuals. This year we honor the people who dedicated themselves to the education of students and the betterment of this institution, making it possible for us to celebrate this legacy.
