Department of Music hosts their annual PRISM concert

The Walla Walla University Department of Music invites you to attend their annual PRISM concert on April 24. This event will be held at the University Church with music beginning at 8 p.m.

The PRISM concert is unlike any other hosted by Walla Walla University and has been a yearly favorite since Kraig Scott first designed it in 2001. This fast-paced musicale features every ensemble and instrumental studio in the Department of Music.

“The non-stop performance migrates around the University Church, offering unique listening experiences depending on the location of each listener,” said event creator Kraig Scott. “Typically, one or two pieces are fractured into shorter sections, like how a prism refractures light.”

PRISM concert admission is free and open to the public. The concert moves around the room so doors close promptly at 8 p.m.; plan on arriving early. The University Church is located at 212 SW Fourth St., College Place.
