Merit Scholarships for Transfer Students

Starting January 1, 2025

Students transferring in less than 36 quarter credits may be eligible for freshman scholarships in place of the transfer scholarships listed below. See Freshman Scholarships for more detail.

Transfer students are advised to inform a financial counselor of their scholarship eligibility and to be prepared to document eligibility as required. Students who have previously attended Walla Walla University are considered returning students and are encouraged to contact SFS to discuss what they may be eligible for.

This scholarship program is designed for students who transfer to Walla Walla University after January, 2025. Students who transferred to WWU prior to January, 2025, will remain on the scholarship program that was in place when they initially transferred to Walla Walla University.
