AGA Presidents
With a very brief paragraph, the Collegian announced that on October 2, 1927 the girl’s dorm had organized a club (6 October 1927 pg 4). Later the girl’s club chose the name Aleph Gimel Ain. The Hebrew letters stand for “True Comrades in Service.” The women’s residence hall club has hosted many events over its long history. Some of the best known are An Hour of Charm, Mother's Day Weekend (started in 1937), and Breast Cancer Awareness events.
